Improves patient compliance:

• NeighborCare calls the patient once a month to confirm their medication supply and arrange for re-order.



• Through the monthly phone call, the pharmacy also checks that the patient is taking the appropriate dosage. If the pharmacy suspects any discrepancies, the physician is contacted.

Reduces patient anxiety and phone calls to the physician:

• Medication counseling available by a pharmacist for the patient's questions and concerns.



• Twenty-four hour clinical and technical support.

Patient can begin prescription immediately:

• Physician Sample Program provides unit dose medications for initial treatment in your office.



• Next day delivery available on most new orders and for on-going unit dose medication needs.

Up-to-date information on covered diagnoses and conditions under Medicare:

• NeighborCare staff is knowledgeable about which diagnoses are covered for the specific unit dose medications.



• NeighborCare is only accepting patients with Medicare coverage at this time, but will bill most secondary insurances for the twenty percent co-pay.
